| Okuma Programmer Operator Immediate opening at a busy rapidly growing machine shop in Cockeysville MD. Okuma CNC Lathe programmer / operator. Applicants must be able to interpret 2D files and prints and generate CNC programs to support machining of New Products / Fixtures. Reverse engineering from part samples and identify tooling required to support the CNC machine programs. Also assist shop personnel in the set-up of Okuma CNC Lathes to optimize the manufacturing process defined by the CNC program. Successful individual will interact with engineering and machine shop personnel. Two or more years of experience as a CNC programmer preferred. Ability to develop CNC programming from CAD design drawings or prototype parts with minimal supervision required. Working knowledge of CAD systems such as MasterCAM, Gibbs, and AutoCAD programming is a plus. Understanding of raw materials and related machining preferred. Set up and Operate Okuma CNC Lathe Machines Direct experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances).
