Sr. Testing Specialist TITLE: Sr. Testing Specialist LOCATION: Rockville, MD. TYPE: 6+ months with strong possibility of extension. (CTH) OUR CLIENT: Our client is a Fortune 500 company with a strong 20,000 employee base offering a portfolio of services to companies that include process consulting and outsourcing; application consulting and outsourcing and infrastructure services. As a potential consultant or an employee you are guaranteed to work with the newest and most exciting technologies and services. ROLES: • Develop test plans based on test strategy, Create and execute test cases based on test strategy and test plans, Review business requirements and software system designs for testability. • Participate in reviews of system architecture, and design documents, Develop scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools as required to execute Test Plans. • Support test lead to identify risks and to develop mitigation strategies. Required Skills: • 7+ years experience with software quality assurance, Practical knowledge and experience in all phases of software QA. • Experience with testing at different levels (unit, functional, integration, system, load and performance testing). • Experience with Test Automation development and maintenance. • Must have experience working with SHARE POINT. • Experience working with iterative development methodologies. • Experience testing in .NET technology platforms, multiple OS and RDBMS. • Experience with various test automation tools, and Experience in Financial domain.
